Object description: Cotton textile in balanced weave with a band of brocading at each end in red, blue, green, orange and yellow. The band of decoration appears at either end of the cotton. The pattern is the same at either end and consists of a band of geometric shapes approximately 90 mm wide with borders of orange, red and blue stripes. On either side of the main band of geometric pattern are several stripes of green, orange, red and blue with a band of red flowers in-between. The textile has a label attached to the back with materials and washing instructions: "Cyprus handicraft service 100% cotton Handmade Machine Wash wash separately". Both ends of the textile have been finished with tassels, twisted and knotted made from the same cotton textile as the rest of the textile. [FC 24/01/2011]
