Object description: Khond axe with eye-hafted iron blade which is formed into four spikes and a wooden haft partly bound in brass wire. Two of the blade spikes face forward and the remaining two point up and down. The blade is blackened on both sides and is decorated near the haft with an incised pattern. The haft has a finial spike held by a cast brass tube that is decorated with a cast design of grooves and semi-circles. The haft also has a brass butt. [SM 13/04/2007]
